Zac Posen closed his label, Known for using red carpet celebrities in his fashion designs.
The American designer says he is “deeply saddened” by the decision.
Posen has been a favorite red carpet for almost two decades, known for its lovely dresses that embrace the body, often using long trains or large, bright frills, for stars like Katie Holmes and Rihanna.
After the news, Posen went to Instagram for the brand to tell him his last farewell.
“I want to express my gratitude to our exceptional team and everyone who was with me and the brand,” Posen wrote a group photo of his Zac Posen employees.

The management team … has done everything possible to navigate the increasingly challenging world of fashion and commerce, he said in a statement released Friday. We are disappointed that these efforts have not worked and we are deeply saddened that the trip of almost 20 years is over.
Zac Posen founded his brand in 2001 and is only 20 years old, after a period of study at St Martins College of Art and Design in London, and was immediately adopted by the world of fashion.
From 2012 to 2018, he served as a judge on the reality TV show Project Runway. This year, he organized a table at Met Gala for the first time, with Katie Holmes, Nina Dobrev, Deepika Padukone and more with their 3D printed dresses.
